Hey everyone!
What a lit week. Starting off Happy Birthday to my boys skeet and g-joy....20 years old that's crazy! Anyway it was a solid week out here in Bermuda! It's crazy that it's already October. I've already been out 9 months and it's transfers tomorrow. Nothing will be changing in Bermuda but that was such a quick 6 weeks! In 6 weeks Elder VH will be herr....that's how they talk in Bermuda by the way hahaha!
Anyway last p-day we went to this under water exploration museum! Sorry I didn't get any pics my b. We had a good week and our power is all fixed so we are back in our apartment! Something awesome this week is a guy from South Africa moved to Bermuda for work. He is a young guy and super awesome. His name is Twanda Chidzawu and he is gonna be a blessing here, solid member and he is an RM. Also he is from Petersmeritsberg....idk if pops ever served there but that is in the same stake as Molweni where my boy P-town is serving! Pretty neat.
We have been trying hard to meet with our people but it has been really hard and very frustrating. Please continue to pray for the whole Bermuda branch and our investigators. I was happy when conference rolled around....our investigator Mike said he was coming 10 mins before it started and then never showed up.. but conference was pretty freaking awesome id say. It is awesome how in tune those men are with the spirit. Today's world is crazy and so many spoke about service and how we need to look outside ourselves and just love and help others. Also so many mentioned the Family Proclamation and how in the world today our families are being attacked and keeping strong is so important. I know what they said this weekend is true and everyday us as members need to get stronger. I encourage you to re-read and re-watch conference and strive to overcome the World. Prayers out to our Prophet and Elder Hales' family.
Well I'm gonna send a lot of pictures. I'm weak in writing sorry I'd love to say more cause I could go on forever, but if there is one thing you take from this email, it's that Im doing great and I know life is a fight sometimes but I promise everyone that this gospel is the only way. Keep going every single day and lose yourself in helping others! Love you all!

Greetings
CONGRATULATIONS TO CARTER AND ADRIAN!!! That's my by Carter, atta kid. I can believe you are married. It feels like yesterday you offered to get me some booz cause you just turned 21. nah really congrats Carter, I love you man!
This week tho was super sick! Tuesday at the Brooklyn bridge was way cool. Then on our way back to far rockaway we stopped in Brooklyn to say bye to elder jensen since he goes home tomorrow that's crazy! then that night our Haitian friend fed us some A+ salmon! I'm gonna miss her so much she's the best as are really all the people here in far rockaway.
We have been doing some serious work out here as well. One thing I'm really bummed about is that we will be having 4 baptisms next transfer! Freaking 4!!!It's crazy, Dean is champing out and he has set his mind to stop smoking completely Aug 25 and then baptized early September! love the guy even tho he's a little wack, but that's far rock for ya. Michelle and her son Michael are as champ as investigators come. Michael is 12 and came to church with us (Michelle had to work), but he loved it and Michele said she will do whatever it takes to come to church even if it's quitting her current job, She has so much faith and is so prepared! I can't wait for them to be baptized mid September! Ariana Siddoway (she's the little girl in the back of the BBQ pic), she's gonna get baptized next transfer too! President Romeo said she had to wait 3 months and it's been like 2! But there is so much success here in far rockaway and right now if you would all pray for the Phipps family our investigators, as their dad just passed away. I know that the plan of salvation has truly been a comfort to them and they really need prayers.
We had a BBQ with the Siddoways on Saturday! I freaking love their family! Sis Siddoway made some really Gucci grub. Then that night we went to a meeting in Woodside! and the stake presidency talked about priesthood and youth the entire time! They talked about how our ward needs to know the youth and be involved and I thought back to my sage hollow ward and I was like dang we were awesome! We have a special place we live in back home and the people there are 1 in a million.
Im excited to hit up Bermuda in 8 days. It's been a journey and it just continues! There is a scripture in 2 Nephi 31:20 it says: "this is the way, and there is no other way or name given that men can be saved in the kingdom of god". Always remember the big picture of life, and find joy in the journey!
Love ya'll... huge shout out to the squad. K9, Gavi, ty...all about to train new missionaries good luck! Shout out to kaler senior year let's get it boi. and My boi cam good luck with the double school my man! Mom and Dad you are just the champiest. Lucky I'm not there to whip y'all up in guitar hero, that's my game
Talk to you next week last time before Bermy

Hey family and friends and Gavin!
Just kidding love you so much Gav...just thought I'd give you a shout out cause you are so close but so far away! NY for life!
This week was super dope! for Pday, we played ball the usual, then we went mini golfing as a district that was so fun! Our district is pretty sick right now! Me and Elder Cinteon went on exchanges! I love that guy so much...he goes home to puerto rico in like 2 weeks its crazy! He's awesome and we had a good day!
We have been working a lot with our people and being blessed with new ones! We were able to teach Dean like 3 times this week and he went from smoking almost a pack of cigarettes a day down to 1 or none a day. This is God's work!! He also came to church and I'm excited for Dean to be baptized in the near future! Also a blessing this week is we we got a referral for a lady named Michelle and she is prepared. It's like coming home from practice to mom's cooking waiting for you... she is so ready and she loves the gospel. She was taught back in 2008 but needed some time. Her son is 12 and is awesome! Pray for her to get this new job she applied for because if she gets it then no more working on Sundays and she can get baptized in 3 weeks!
I wrote the first of this email this morning and then I've been in Rego park and Brooklyn all day! It was such a good day and I'll send lots of pics. Glenn game and visited and it was way awesome! he hooked us up with some awesome food! It was a sick day! We painted the Siddoways house this week which was lit!
Love you all! (Sorry for the crazy email).

Hey fam
What's up, everyone! I know it's Tuesday but we had to switch P days because of interviews. They went super awesome I love meeting with President. First off next week P day will be Tuesday as well cause elder Putoa is going to the temple! But I can't believe it week 30 and it's August. I've been out like 7 months. Shout out to Rocky for hitting that year mark tomorrow! Also happy birthday to Brayson Hurdsman!
On Tuesday last week we get a call from President Reynolds, the champ, and he says there is a couple missionaries at JFK who missed their flight to Ukraine and they've been there all night. So we went and got them and went to IHOP and let them sleep in our beds and then took them back to the airport later that today. Kinda funny and they are going to Ukraine so RIP boys.
Then on Wednesday I was able to interview Jesse and see if he was ready to be baptized! It was my first interview and it was so cool to see how his testimony has grown and I felt the spirit so strong when he testified to me. He was baptized in Saturday. I love the guy. I was able to give him a white shirt and a tie as a gift.
Our car has been over heating and while me and elder gover were on exchanges (from vegas..love the guy), we had to take he car into the shop and they said after 2 hours of waiting that it wouldn't be done till tomorrow so we then had to walk 5 miles back to the church in far rockaway. Super lit. Hahaha but we bought some lemonade from some kids so it was Gucci. Then some young women tried to hit on us as they drove by and then flipped around and then flipped around again. So funny!!! We finally ended up getting out car back on Saturday so that was good.
This week was great, we found 4 new investigators and the Barrington family is super prepared. We are going to put them on baptismal date this week. We also set a baptismal date for Dean this week so that was awesome and he committed to stop smoking and coffee yesterday he is so willing and so prepared. I'm sad that I won't be here for these baptisms probably but I'm just gonna do all i can to get them as close as possible so I know they happen! We haven't been able to meet with Cathy, but Sandra is still progressing...she will take some time but I know eventually she will come around! Keep praying it helps a lot and thank you so much!
Sunday was 5th Sunday so on Friday branch President was like frick what we gonna do so he calls me and is like we are gonna do missionary Sunday. For all 2 hours after sacrament meeting us missionaries had to teach....for 2 hours hahaha, but we made it so fun and we got so many referals from it. It was awesome. Also had to give a talk in sacrament meeting so that was crazy but it went pretty good I'd say!
Best thing about far rockaway is every morning we go to the courts and play ball all 4 of us elders. It's so lit, I miss playing and ballin with the squad. But we are earning mad street cred out here. Nobody has beat the white boys yet haha!
I really want you all to know that I love you. Cameron I can't thank you enough for the example you are to me. Kaler you've always been there and I love you! Thanks for being amazing brothers. Mom and dad there are no 2 people out there greater than you so thank you. I want everyone to know that this gospel blesses families and that I have a testimony of everything that we teach about. I know the book of Mormon is true and if you read it with a sincere heart it will change your life. Put this first before everything, don't stress, rely on Him and everything will be okay

Hello everyone!
Solid week down here in Far Rockaway! Happy 24th, I'm still celebrating that here. Utah pride. The reason for the subject is because I drove a ton this week. Living in NY would be mad frustrating. To drive like 7 miles takes like 40 plus minutes. And the speed limits are so slow. Worst thing is I have to obey them because of tiwi. If you don't know what that is your lucky (Just a lil box on the window that says your speed every 5 seconds when I go over the speed limit). I feel like that old person everyone get mad at in StG when they are going like 5 mph hahaha!
Anyway, this was a good week. Went to the temple on Tuesday and did an endowment session for my 6 month mark and it was awesome. I love the temple and blessings that come when we visit often. Scary tho cause on our way back to queens a sister got really sick and barfed on the tracks. A couple of us elders carried her thru the subway station out in the busy street and then a car came to get her. Crazy stuff! After all that Wednesday we had megazone conference which was awesome. I love to see all the missionaries! We also got our tablets back so now I have a phone and a tablet! It's pretty cool but I don't know what to do with both hahahaha! It's a little unnecessary! I like the phones better! Thursday was exchanges with zone leaders! I was back in my old area and it was so sick cause we saw the Pena family from my last Ward just walking in the streets. Crystal the mom and her son Christian freaked out when they saw me and were like so happy cause they thought i was back in rego! I had to tell them no but nevertheless it was awesome to see them. Then we had to go get out car fixed on Saturday so went out on the island a little. There's a dope mall out there so we checked it out and had a weird run in with a crazy dude. It ended by him making a dirty joke comment and walking away. I was laughing because people are crazy but elder Putoa was so confused cause he didn't get what just happened I explained and he thought it was hilarious hahahah!
We had a cool experience yesterday. I had set these goals in district meeting for our district for our numbers and I really wanna see the squad here out in the work and finding people, bring them to church and baptize. We found 3 new investigators! One named Dean and he is way cool. A cool experience at church....none of our investigators showed up even after like 4 or 5 said they were coming. (i did a G- joy move right there). No joke I said a prayer that someone would show up and John Morrissey rolled in like 40 minutes late but you know it was such a blessing to see it. I know that God answers prayers and that we are never alone because he is there I can tell you that. We have a lot of people that are getting really close to progressing towards baptism. We had a good lesson with Sandra! And the Phipps family is looking good and should be at church next week! Keep praying for those 2 and the Saddler family! And also Dean and John!
Thank y'all for the prayers, here is a dope video that i saw this week if you all wanna check it out!

Hey all
Wowzers don't even know where to start. Transfers on Tuesday was crazy! We said goodbye to like half the OG district. But my new companion is Elder Putoa! The guy is 22 years in age from Tahiti! Really cool guy and he is a professional boxer in Tahiti!
This week not even gonna lie was pretty freaking stressful and all over the place. With district leader and just everything going on it's been pretty cray. But some good service from sister Otoo and her cooking us up some good grub snapped the slump. Then later on Monday we had this new French investigator name Mirlande and Elder Putoa was able to teach and translate for me in his native language it was awesome! She seems really promising! Also we found a new family named the Phipps and they are sick! We taught them about the plan of salvation because the dad is about to die. It's really sad but they felt the spirit so strong and I have a good feeling both will get baptized! Sandra and Cathy both couldn't meet this past week but this week will be better and hopefully see them at church. Also something super exciting is the Siddoway family, a less active family (or was) that we have been working with, we have been getting them to come and it's been 3 weeks in a row! The daughter Ariana is way funny and awesome and asked me to baptize her! Hopefully we can get it done in the next 5 weeks!
I'm loving Far Rockaway and the branch is amazing. The mission has its ups and downs but one thing I know is that God is there and we need to rely on him. I was giving a workshop in my district meeting...Talking about praying for desire. If we have a desire for something we can do it. If we don't have a desire we need to ask for the desire. We can change ourselves and other people we just have to want it and go to work. I love you all! Quick shout out to the E. Beecher balling out back home in Texas and my nephew down in Lynbrook with VH. Love the fine nine. And my family thank you for all you do! Can't express enough.
Going to the temple today and am stoked as it gets. Have a great week. Send the prayers, I pray for you all daily! #gametime

Hello
This week is free agency(transfers).... just like Gordon Hayward! Elder mccleary is leaving the area. It was a great transfer with him and he's a cool guy I will miss him a lot! I got one more transfer here in far rockaway before I head out to Bermuda! I'm gonna be sad to leave far rockaway because this place is awesome. I wish I could spend my whole mission in Rego park, far rockaway and Bermuda! All 3 are bomb. But anyway not sure who my new comp will be but I'm excited. I'm also going to be a district leader here in far rockaway so im excited to do that. Hopefully I won't totally screw up!
Anyway this week was so jam packed and pretty awesome. Definetly Definitely the fastest week so far in the mission. I've been out over 6 months it's cray cray. Last Monday was super dope we balled with some far rockawayins and it was so fun, hardest I've played in a while. Got some guys mad cause white boys balled em up. The 4th of July was super sick. We had 2 BBQ's and they were so fun. I wish y'all could meet the members here. they aree awesome especially the Forbes family, I'll send some pics. Great day played some more basketball that day.
Thank you all for the birthday wishes as well! It was a pretty great birthday in the cut. We had correlation so basically a party cause it was Sis Spencer's birthday too. Had cake and goodies. Then sis Inacori fed us the gucciest dinner and cake. She's the nicest person ever. Mom you and her could be best friends hahaha!
We were able to find some awesome new people this week as well! Sandra and Cathy are 2 new investigators who are really promising. As we were teaching Cathy the restoration for the 2nd time to make sure she understood it, it just seemed like it clicked and the spirit was so strong. I love sharing this gospel with other people. This is so true and watching other people accept this and change their lives is so amazing. Pray for Sandra and Cathy!
I don't wanna go into much more but the week was awesome and I barely scratched the surface so I'll send some pics. Y'all are awesome....love you family and fine 9. The Book of Mormon is true I can promise you all that. And Joseph Smith saw God and Jesus Christ. If you have any doubts pray and ask him if and he will answer . Thank you for all the examples in my life. Dueces.
