Hello everyone!

Solid week down here in Far Rockaway! Happy 24th, I'm still celebrating that here. Utah pride. The reason for the subject is because I drove a ton this week. Living in NY would be mad frustrating. To drive like 7 miles takes like 40 plus minutes. And the speed limits are so slow. Worst thing is I have to obey them because of tiwi. If you don't know what that is your lucky (Just a lil box on the window that says your speed every 5 seconds when I go over the speed limit). I feel like that old person everyone get mad at in StG when they are going like 5 mph hahaha!

Anyway, this was a good week. Went to the temple on Tuesday and did an endowment session for my 6 month mark and it was awesome. I love the temple and blessings that come when we visit often. Scary tho cause on our way back to queens a sister got really sick and barfed on the tracks. A couple of us elders carried her thru the subway station out in the busy street and then a car came to get her. Crazy stuff! After all that Wednesday we had megazone conference which was awesome. I love to see all the missionaries! We also got our tablets back so now I have a phone and a tablet! It's pretty cool but I don't know what to do with both hahahaha!  It's a little unnecessary! I like the phones better! Thursday was exchanges with zone leaders! I was back in my old area and it was so sick cause we saw the Pena family from my last Ward just walking in the streets. Crystal the mom and her son Christian freaked out when they saw me and were like so happy cause they thought i was back in rego! I had to tell them no but nevertheless it was awesome to see them. Then we had to go get out car fixed on Saturday so went out on the island a little. There's a dope mall out there so we checked it out and had a weird run in with a crazy dude. It ended by him making a dirty joke comment and walking away. I was laughing because people are crazy but elder Putoa was so confused cause he didn't get what just happened I explained and he thought it was hilarious hahahah!

We had a cool experience yesterday. I had set these goals in district meeting for our district for our numbers and I really wanna see the squad here out in the work and finding people, bring them to church and baptize. We found 3 new investigators! One named Dean and he is way cool.  A cool experience at church....none of our investigators showed up even after like 4 or 5 said they were coming. (i did a G- joy move right there). No joke I said a prayer that someone would show up and John Morrissey rolled in like 40 minutes late but you know it was such a blessing to see it.  I know that God answers prayers and that we are never alone because he is there I can tell you that. We have a lot of people that are getting really close to progressing towards baptism. We had a good lesson with Sandra! And the Phipps family is looking good and should be at church next week! Keep praying for those 2 and the Saddler family! And also Dean and John!

Thank y'all for the prayers, here is a dope video that i saw this week if you all wanna check it out!

Hey all

Wowzers don't even know where to start. Transfers on Tuesday was crazy! We said goodbye to like half the OG district. But my new companion is Elder Putoa! The guy is 22 years in age from Tahiti! Really cool guy and he is a professional boxer in Tahiti!

This week not even gonna lie was pretty freaking stressful and all over the place. With district leader and just everything going on it's been pretty cray. But  some good service from sister Otoo and her cooking us up some good grub snapped the slump. Then later on Monday we had this new French investigator name Mirlande and Elder Putoa was able to teach and translate for me in his native language it was awesome! She seems really promising! Also we found a new family named the Phipps and they are sick!  We taught them about the plan of salvation because the dad is about to die. It's really sad but they felt the spirit so strong and I have a good feeling both will get baptized! Sandra and Cathy both couldn't meet this past week but this week will be better and hopefully see them at church. Also something super exciting is the Siddoway family, a less active family (or was) that we have been working with, we have been getting them to come and it's been 3 weeks in a row! The daughter Ariana is way funny and awesome and asked me to baptize her! Hopefully we can get it done in the next 5 weeks!

I'm loving Far Rockaway and the branch is amazing. The mission has its ups and downs but one thing I know is that God is there and we need to rely on him. I was giving a workshop in my district meeting...Talking about praying for desire. If we have a desire for something we can do it. If we don't have a desire we need to ask for the desire. We can change ourselves and other people we just have to want it and go to work. I love you all! Quick shout out to the E. Beecher balling out back home in Texas and my nephew down in Lynbrook with VH. Love the fine nine. And my family thank you for all you do! Can't express enough.

Going to the temple today and am stoked as it gets. Have a great week. Send the prayers, I pray for you all daily! #gametime

Hello

This week is free agency(transfers).... just like Gordon Hayward! Elder mccleary is leaving the area. It was a great transfer with him and he's a cool guy I will miss him a lot! I got one more transfer here in far rockaway before I head out to Bermuda! I'm gonna be sad to leave far rockaway because this place is awesome. I wish I could spend my whole mission in Rego park, far rockaway and Bermuda! All 3 are bomb. But anyway not sure who my new comp will be but I'm excited. I'm also going to be a district leader here in far rockaway so im excited to do that. Hopefully I won't totally screw up!

Anyway this week was so jam packed and pretty awesome. Definetly Definitely the fastest week so far in the mission. I've been out over 6 months it's cray cray. Last Monday was super dope we balled with some far rockawayins and it was so fun, hardest I've played in a while. Got some guys mad cause white boys balled em up. The 4th of July was super sick. We had 2 BBQ's and they were so fun. I wish y'all could meet the members here. they aree awesome especially the Forbes family, I'll send some pics. Great day played some more basketball that day.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes as well! It was a pretty great birthday in the cut. We had correlation so basically a party cause it was Sis Spencer's birthday too. Had cake and goodies. Then sis Inacori fed us the gucciest dinner and cake. She's the nicest person ever. Mom you and her could be best friends hahaha!

We were able to find some awesome new people this week as well! Sandra and Cathy are 2 new investigators who are really promising. As we were teaching Cathy the restoration for the 2nd time to make sure she understood it, it just seemed like it clicked and the spirit was so strong. I love sharing this gospel with other people. This is so true and watching other people accept this and change their lives is so amazing. Pray for Sandra and Cathy!

I don't wanna go into much more but the week was awesome and I barely scratched the surface so I'll send some pics.  Y'all are awesome....love you family and fine 9. The Book of Mormon is true I can promise you all that. And Joseph Smith saw God and Jesus Christ. If you have any doubts pray and ask him if and he will answer . Thank you for all the examples in my life. Dueces.

Hey y'all,

This week was way Gucci. It's been since last Friday since I emailed and it feels like it's been a long time! This week was way good tho.....we had an 8 year old get baptized on the beach last week so that was sick! This week was a week also full of traveling for my Bermuda stuff.  We had to go to China(flushing) for my doctors appointment which was good. Then Manhatten to get my certificate of good conduct. Good thing that smoke bomb at the football game junior year didn't get out on my record hahaha! Thank you mama Shannon for that one. We also had interviews with President which went way good! I love pres Reynolds he holds down the mission! Also had exchanges so I was in a trio with the Spanish elders again and it's freaking awesome.  I love being with them for a day and hopefully my Spanish keeps getting better. The work tho is going really good and time flew by this transfer.

Next week are transfers so I will let you know what happens. I think elder mccleary will be out which kinda sucks but we will see. This week we found some way cool people to reach. John, Sandra and Joel!!  We really need to find some solid and not crazy people to teach so pray for these new people we found. John is way solid and was taught before by missionaries but wasn't ready. Now he has had some time and I can really see him progressing towards baptism so keep sending your prayers. Far Rockaway needs it. There are so many crazy people here hahaha! But someone who is awesome is our grandma in the mission. She is Haitian and got baptized like a year ago and she loves missionaries. She feeds us every week and is so freaking awesome....shes almost as cool as my real grandma's but not quite! I wish you all could meet some of the people I've met out here I love them so much! Nothing too crazy this week.

Everyone keep writing down something good everyday! I know as we look on the positive side of everything we will find happiness. Willie this week was able to say the sacrament prayer on the bread...he is literally so inspiring. He wheeled up in his wheel chair and nothing stops him and he never complains. He practiced all week cause he isnt the best reader. He got it on the 2nd try and the spirit was so strong. Everyone be like Willie! I wanna leave y'all with a quote.  "Our greatest weakness lies in giving up, the most certain way to succeed is to always try just one more time."
Everyone keep pushing everyday and find joy in the journey.

Love you all! Happy 4th. Love the boys, k9, p- town, skeet, Willy, b- wade, Gavi, ty, and Rocky. Happy birthday rock! Mom dad kaler cam love you guys so much and i know you all cry everyday without me especially cam and kaler ! Anyway dueces from the hood. Love you all. Have fun in the heat.
